We decided to give it a try without expectations

Almost going on three years now, I met this wonderful young lady on your website. Not knowing where this adventure would lead us since we were in two different states we decided to give it a try without any expectations. We connected from the very beginning, having many similarities and similar backgrounds. Our phone conversations lasted for hours, figuring to get to know one another through conversation before actually meeting face to face.

After a couple of months of sleepless nights due to our lengthily conversation….lol, we decided to meet. NYC was to be the meeting place, since I work in NYC but commute from PA where I reside and she has never been to NYC we thought it would be perfect. “Labor Day” weekend was the meeting, a little hesitant on meeting she decided to bring a friend with her. This is the funny part…lol If I was not the person I said I was or shorter than my described height which we all know happens on these dating websites, she was going to pass me to her friend….lol

But luckily for the both of us that was not the case..lol We both were exactly what our profiles described, she was even more beautiful in person. I am not one to believe in phrases but it was really love at first sight. It was like we had known each other for many years. We walked through central park, talked about everything had a nice dinner. From that day forward we decided to put 110% into this long awaited beautiful relationship we both were looking for.

I did more of the traveling back and forward from PA to IL, since it would have been a little more difficult for her since she has two daughters. But almost three years later, a small fortune and unclaimed frequent flier miles….lol We were wed, the blessed event took place in Chicago on Sunday July 29th, 2007.

P.S. Even though I am not her daughters’ biological father, I love them like my own…..
