I don't know how he found me, but he did.
I JUST WANTED TO FIND A FRIEND, BUT HE TOLD ME TO SMILE IN A CARD. I DON'T KNOW HOW HE FOUND ME, BUT HE DID. WE STILL GO OUT, DINNER AND MOVIES. THE FIRST TIME WE WENT OUT, I DIDN'T LIKE HIM, BUT WE STILL WENT OUT. HE ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO BE HIS GIRL, SO I ACCEPTED. NOW I'M GOING TO MARRY HIM ON FEB 21ST OF NEXT YEAR. He is the man I have waited for my entire life...
I came on to find someone and I knew what I was looking for. I did find a few that were nice, but I was not really interested. Then I met the one who was known on the site as meltonis. He is from Texas and I was peaches3555 and I am from Michigan, which is quite a distance from one another. I met him in May of 2007 and we talked on here until his subscription ran out. Then he gave me his personal email address and we started talking more online and then we called each other on the phone and talked for quite a while. I found out talking to him that we have a lot in common. Our birthdays are both in March, he has 1 son and I have 1 daughter, and he has 2 grandchildren and I have 2 grandchildren. He is allergic to penicillin and so am I. He got his reaction to it in the hospital in England and I got my reaction to it in the hospital in Michigan, so we have quite a bit in common with each other. While conversing with him online, he asked me when I would be coming to Texas for a visit, as I have some family there. So I set up the month and when we would meet each other. I told him that if I didn't trust him, I would not be meeting him alone, but there was just something about him when I was talking online to him and on the phone that I had complete trust in him. I have been to Texas 3 times so far to see him and I am going back in November of this year for Thanksgiving and will be making another trip in February of next year. In June of 2009, I will be moving to Texas to be with him. So I have met my soul mate and I knew that when I met him in person that we were soul mates and meant to be together and that is what we are going to do. He is the man I have waited for my entire life and he treats me as his equal and with love and respect. I found him on the Latin Singles Connection, so I just want to say Thank-you so much Latin Singles Connection. For without you, I would not have met him. We are both going to be very happy.

After only a few days as a member of Latin Singles, I got a smile from a beautiful lady who lives in Georgia, USA. I live in Iceland and we both new that this could be difficult, but where there is a will, there is a way. We started to send each other emails and found out that we had a lot in common. To make a long story short, I hopped on a plane, we fell in love, and are now
engaged to be married. Thanks to Latin Singles Connection, we found our soulmate and happiness. What a great website and Risa's personal touch

I found my friend, my lover, and my soulmate.
I met Lita, aka curlylita, about 2 -3 years ago. I thought she was cute, so I sent her a smile (along with the many others she received when she first became a member).
Well, I guess like most relations on LSC, we went back and forth with the emails, I am in Florida, she was in Ct. Also like many long distance online relations, the emails started to get less and less and just about came to a stop. However, the friendship foundation was established.
Then I received the email that I'll never forget about 11 months later, "Hey Felix, are we still buddies". She was now in Florida, about 2 hours away.
To make a long story short, we have been seeing each other for about a year now. Now I can say that I found my friend, my lover, and my soulmate on this site.
SO GUYS, it is possible to find that special someone on this site. Just remember, you are not the only one sending those smiles. Since I am a little older than most of the guys on this site (actually a lot older), the advise I can pass on is don't force the emails. Just relax, communicate, and let things fall into place. You have to know when things are "clicking" and when they are not.

From that moment on I knew he was the man...
It all began November 12, 2007. I sent Lin_dre a smile asking him if he was interested in being my friend. Since I lived in New Jersey and Lin_dre lived in Florida, I figured all we could become was internet buddies.
Lin_dre saw me online and he tried to IM me, but I couldn't get his IM due to my computer settings. We finally were able to IM each other, which we did for about an hour. At that point we could no longer resist the desire to communicate via telephone.
On December 14, 2007, he flew from Florida to New Jersey to meet me and from that moment on I knew he was the man I wanted to spend my life with. Our feelings were mutual and we continue to plan to come together as a family.

I read islandgirl77's profile on L.S.C. and immediately upgraded my membership so I can get to talk to her; we hit it off immediately. After speaking to each other for a little less than a month, I decided I must meet her in person. So one weekend, I just got into my car and drove 522 miles to meet her. I left on a Saturday and drove 10 hours and was back home by Sunday. I must say the it was worth every mile to see and meet such a wonderful person. We now have been together for 4 months and we're looking forward to spending the rest of our life as one. It started with a smile he sent to me and ended up a true love story, you know like the ones on Lifetime that you don't like to admit you watch. That one little smile started it all. He lived in New York (go Mets) and I in Ohio and we found each other through Latin Singles; A one in a billion chance to meet the man I have prayed for my whole adult life.
After many months of getting to know each other on-line, over the phone, and through visits, my baby said he couldn't live without me anymore and quit his job of 18 years, left N.Y.(his home for as long as he could remember), sent me a ticket, we packed a cargo van, and drove to Ohio where we both are living happily ever after. Yes, he left everything for me. I truly feel like the luckiest woman in the world. I know he loves me more then anything else in his life. I hope all of you will listen to your hearts, use your intuition, and know that there is someone out there for you and they could be just a smile away.
